The Burr House Craft Gallery and Tearoom, in a historical building that dates from the 1820s, is a short distance west of Hillcrest Mall.
It provides an outlet for local artisans to display and sell their crafts and a place to enjoy a quiet cup of tea with scones and homemade jams.
Beautiful local art pieces are on display.
The Burr House is the home of the Richmond Hill Spinners and Weavers Guild and the Hill Potter's Guild.
Tea and scones are served from 1 to 4 pm for a nominal cost of only $3.50 per person
The operating hours are 12:30 to 4:30 pm on Saturday & Sunday in December & February to May and Friday, Saturday, & Sunday in June to November.
